Even from an early age I was interested in anything artistic at school.
I had two very good teachers.
I ended up in hairdressing for many years specialising in hair colour.
Some decades later, I spent time with someone who introduced me to
Carnival glass and, more importantly, gave me a voucher for a glass
fusing course at a nearby glass centre. I was hooked!!! Time passed
and priorities changed.
Twelve years ago I met someone who rekindled my passion for glass.
Now I have my own kiln and small studio, where I am developing some new techniques in free forming with clear glass and hand colouring. No two pieces are the same.
I am delighted to discuss commissions – just give me a call!
I firmly believe that everyone should have at least one personal piece
of art that gives them pleasure and makes them smile.
